The Avengers is one of the highest grossing movies ever made, and it largely comes from the fact that people love seeing these individual characters collide, their luminous personalities creating sparks and laughs in equal measure. This is beautiful much the backbone of the MCU, and the comic chemistry shows off its full, all-consuming gift in Avengers: Infinity War. Characters who've never met back finally meet, giving fanboys and girls the pairings of their dreams -- and ones they didn't even accomplish they desperately needed. This movie works similar to gangbusters in this department, getting a big supply of vigor from every the oscillate personalities bouncing off each other.
Some of these pairings spend the combination movie together. Others just tell one stock to each other, but that one stock is just so much fun, that it deserves an door upon this list. But these were my personal favorite pairings in the movie, ranked.
Bruce Banner and ShuriMaybe this one shouldn't be treated as a pairing seeing as how Bruce Banner and Shuri spend maybe a sum of 20 seconds together, but this was a pairing I've been waiting for back Black Panther came out (which, admittedly, didn't create for much of a wait). Shuri is one of the smartest people, if not THE smartest person, upon the planet and I desperately wanted this juvenile woman to undermine Banner or Tony Stark similar to they were a couple of dummies. And I got it! Shuri's the abandoned one who can fix Vision and she teased Banner for not having built Vision this mannerism on the other hand of that way. It's a lovely moment and helps excite how smart Shuri is similar to compared to the perch of the world.
Groot and Captain AmericaAgain, these two have barely any screen mature together, but they acquire one of the best jokes of the movie. Worlds collide upon the battlefield of Wakanda and Steve Rogers FINALLY meets Groot, here introduced as Thor's friend, Tree. Groot, who has three Outriders impaled upon his limb, greets Rogers similar to an "I am Groot." The ever-earnest Captain America replies, "I am Steve Rogers." It always gets a to your liking giggle out of me, and it's such an strange pairing that I just desire to look more of it if abandoned to look Captain America sets that rude juvenile straight.
Bucky and RocketThis one was a weirdly requested pairing by the fan-base, but it's yet such a delight in the film. Both Rocket and Bucky (or bucket as the internet likes to call them) are gun-toting heroes and they stand back-to-back in Wakanda blasting Outriders to kingdom come. It might be the most comic book-y business in the movie and it's great, similar to the fact that Bucky doesn't seem to question at every why he's suit similar to a talking raccoon. But let's be real here: the main defense people wanted these two together is so Rocket could question for Bucky's machine arm, and he enormously does. Never allow it be said that the Russo Brothers don't find the money for people what they want.
Black Widow, Okoye, and Scarlet WitchThe ladies of the MCU don't acquire a lot of mature to interact similar to each other, but Black Widow, Okoye, and Scarlet Witch accomplish acquire to agree to allowance in a memorable fight scene next to Proxima Midnight. Fleshing this membership out is a key priority of the movie, and I would tell they pull it off. Thanos obviously makes Gamora sick to her stomach, but one can at least look why Thanos thinks that he saved her and gave her a enlarged life. It's a enormously fascinating insight into abusive relationships and while the movie doesn't have every the mature in the world to devote to it, I would tell that it successfully pulls it off similar to a crushing payoff.
Thor and Star-LordThe first example of franchises coming together in the movie, and it starts similar to the easiest pill to swallow: the impression people meeting each other. Thor winds going on meeting the Guardians of the Galaxy and as you can expect, it plays off great. while the perch of the Guardians are obsessed similar to Thor's manly pirate-angel physique, Star-Lord is feeling self-conscious and acts out by mimicking Thor and undercutting how attractive he is. It's a beautiful hilarious sequence, especially because this is a post-Ragnarok Thor, so now he can actively acquire in upon the laughs while bulldozing Quill's authority.
Scarlet Witch and VisionBest romance in the MCU? hat and Peggy shippers would likely disagree, but Wanda and Vision enormously summit the list of Most Tragic Lovers by a long shot. Those fans got their wish, and the two heroes allowance some of the best laughs of the entire movie similar to their constant sarcasm. It isn't often that Tony meets someone who's sassier and more immature than he is, but he absolutely met his get along with in Peter Quill. Star-Lord makes Iron Man look similar to Captain America by comparison, and he does force Tony to agree to a incline of authority and try to wrangle their team of heroes together.
Doctor strange and Iron ManWhile we're upon the subject of big screen magic, it doesn't acquire much enlarged than Doctor Strange, and Infinity suit gains great mileage out of pairing him similar to Tony Stark for in this area the entire movie. while it may seem strange to pair two characters who are so similar, this actually works enormously well. further characters rarely challenge Tony Stark, but Doctor strange doesn't agree to any of that crap and throws it right assist at him. Thor, Rocket, and GrootThe pairing that no one was expecting but everyone is happy happened. Who would have ever thought of just how competently Thor and Rocket play together. Groot is mostly along for the ride, but he makes some key contributions as well. I can't really put my finger upon why it does play so well, but it does! It helps that the two of them are hilarious together ("Sweet Rabbit"), but there's real heart, too. Rocket creature the captain and a pain to assist Thor play through his emotional draw attention to is surprisingly touching, especially similar to how Rocket used to shove people away. But here he is a pain to assist Thor process his trauma, even going as in the distance as to find the money for him one of his artificial robotic body parts. Sure, it was going on his ass, but it's the thought that counts. I really wish Avengers 4 gives us more of this, especially now that Rocket has lost just as much as Thor.
